Keynote Speaker: Nicholas Platt, Former American Diplomat

Nicholas Platt served as U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Pakistan, Philippines, Zambia, and as a high level diplomat in Canada, China, Hong Kong, and Japan. In 1972 he accompanied President Nixon on the historic trip to Beijing that signaled the resumption of relations between the United States and China. He was one of the first members of the U.S. Liaison Office in Beijing when the United States established a mission there in 1973. After a thirty four-year career as an American diplomat in Asia he served as the president of the Asia Society in New York City, and is now President Emeritus.

Master of Ceremonies: Tracey Chang, CCTV News Anchor
Tracey Chang is an anchor for CCTV news, the biggest and most influential network in China. Previously, she was a correspondent for CNBC Asia, based out of Hong Kong. She won the Miss New York USA titlein 2009, and represented New York in the Miss USA 2009 pageant in 2009. Chang attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana on a full academic Posse Foundation scholarship and graduated in 2006 with a major in Economics. She graduated with an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 2011.

iSING Performance
Since 2011, the iSING! Program, by C100 member Hao Jiang Tian as founder and artistic director, has drawn talented artists from across the globe to promote the vocal arts in China, and introduce Mandarin as a lyric language and Chinese vocal music as an emerging genre in the mainstream music world. iSING! offers a unique opportunity for Western singers to be exposed to the developing opera scene in China and provides Chinese vocalists access to quality training in Western-style opera. iSING artists will give a special performance for the LSP Gala Dinner.
