Irene Hong: Founding Partner – CEC Capital Group

Irene is many things: long-time China expat, founding partner of an investment bank, single mother, daughter, triathlete, fighter. Originally hailing from the U.S., Irene first came to Beijing as a mechanical engineer, and over the course of two decades found herself leading one of China's leading healthcare banking industry groups.

How did Irene come to China? How did she make the transition from being an engineer into banking? How did she manage difficult choices during challenging personal times and male-dominated industries? How does she balance being a single mom to two kids and a big job? Come have dinner with Irene and hear her China story!

Please kindly note that spotlight dinners are women-only events. And since all proceeds from our ticket sales go straight to supporting our Bethel China, our charity of the year, all tickets are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable. But we would like to give you be a big thank you for supporting Bethel China and their work in caring for and educating abandoned children that are blind or visually impaired.
