In collaboration with Krav Maga Global, and Fitness 4 Hope, Beijing Women's Network is bringing to you three classes on the art of fighting- Boxing, Filipino Stick Fighting, and Krav Maga. Join us for a full day of physical activities under the sun on the roof deck, followed by food and drinks at participating restaurants in SHANG.

Class 1: Ringside: Intro to Boxing and Fight Conditioning
This class combines the basics of boxing and metabolic conditioning training. An intense mix of circuit training and basic boxing drills. This session is an empowering, engaging, and energizing experience for anyone who wants to get fit, move well, and of course, up their striking game.

Class 2: Kali: The Art of Filipino Stick Fighting
Get an intro to the grace and flow of Filipino martial arts. Kali (otherwise known as Arnis or Escrima) is a modern fighting system that is rooted in Philippine history and culture, and is best known for its use of sticks and bladed weapons. In this course, you will get an introduction to the basic flows and exercises of single and double stick drills in kali, getting familiar with the foundational coordination and movements that make up the deadly dance.

Class 3: Defend and Protect: Krav Maga Intro to Self-Defense
No matter where you live in the world, self-defense and street smarts are invaluable life skills. This class will give you an intro to Krav Maga, the Israeli fighting system known for its ease and effectiveness for real world self-defense. In this session, we will tackle common self-defense problems and give you real skills that you can immediately use and up your street smarts and situational awareness.
